Thank you to everyone who has already donated to my creation this summer. Now there are just a few days left of the Avona Crowdfunder. 

Thanks to your support I, Avona, have already attended two events: my birth and a river convergence of The Wye and The Usk at Green Man Festival August 2025.

What’s next?

Three brave free divers’ puppeteered me underwater in the Avon for some incredible footage to be made into a short film of my creation and my purpose. More on this to follow.

After partying and swimming hard this summer – like many of you perhaps – I need some TLC if I am able to show up for World River’s Day this weekend at Bristol Aquarium and for all the plans we have for 2026 in all of my glory. Bristol Aquarium

On Suday the 28^th September it is World River’s Day. To celebrate, we have collaborated with Bristol aquarium for a free exhibition all day celebrating River Joy and the art it inspires.

The night before, on Saturday the 27th September, I will be launching the exhibit after a screening for Rave on for the Avon in the Imax cinema. This will be the last Bristol screening of the documentary. See button below for tickets.
